Includes the Assessment 101 workshop for up to 50 participants, plus one or more additional days of assessment, accreditation, or institutional effectiveness consultation. The institution will choose how to use additional days. The most common activities have been:
- Review of individual draft assessment documents, with written feedback to faculty
- Individual “office hour” consultations for program faculty to discuss their specific assessment questions
- Meet with the assessment staff, assessment committee, accreditation team, or leadership
- One-hour presentation to all faculty, staff, and administrators with a broad overview of institutional effectiveness processes including assessment (academic, non-academic, course, general education, co-curricular), program review (academic and non-academic), use of institutional effectiveness data to inform budget and planning decisions
- Review existing general education, co-curricular, or non-academic assessment processes
- Review existing academic or non-academic program review processes
- Meet with accreditation team to discuss upcoming visit or current monitoring or sanction concerns. Accreditation consultation is available only to Higher Learning Commission institutions. All other services on this page are available to any institution.
Fee: $6,500 plus reasonable travel costs from Tulsa (airfare, lodging, ground transportation).
One-day workshop for up to 50 participants. I provide all materials, including a copy of Assessment 101: Academic Assessment | Five Steps to Continuous Improvement of Student Learning (which normally sells for $35) for each participant. Additional on-site follow-up days during the same visit can be scheduled for $1,000/day.
